Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This policy explains how English Skill Studio uses information on englishskillstudio.com and its learning app. Our public contact channels are listed on our Contact page.

Website visits and analytics

We use Google Analytics, connected through Google Site Kit, to understand website traffic and which pages people use. Google Analytics can use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage information, such as pages visited, interactions, referral sources, device and browser information, and approximate location. This helps us improve the learning resources.

Google processes information under its own policies. Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services. You can restrict cookies in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported.

Our hosting and security services may process technical request information, including IP addresses, timestamps and browser information, to deliver pages, diagnose problems and protect the website.

Learning app storage and install statistics

The learning app stores saved words, lesson progress and practice history in your browser on your device. It can cache app files so that some activities work offline. Progress does not automatically sync between devices. Downloaded progress backups are files you control; restoring a backup reads the file on your device without uploading it.

We also count daily totals for install-button clicks, browser-reported installs and opens in installed-app mode. This counter stores aggregate totals, not personal details, IP addresses, browser identifiers or device IDs. It does not count unique people or identify individual installations. Totals are retained for up to 365 days. The counter skips requests when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. These protections describe this app counter, not every third-party service used by the website.

You can use the app’s progress reset control, or your browser’s site-data settings, to remove locally stored progress. Clearing all site data can also remove offline files and preferences.

Information you choose to provide

If you submit a comment or use an account feature where available, WordPress processes the information you provide, such as a display name, email address and comment text. Comments may be public after moderation; do not include sensitive information in them. Technical information may also be processed for spam prevention and account security. Login and preference cookies may be used for account features.

When you contact us through Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, that platform processes your information under its own privacy policy. We use the information in your message to respond to the enquiry. Public comments on those platforms can be seen by others.

Google advertising and cookies

If Google advertising is enabled on a page, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

You can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center. For other participating vendors, visit AboutAds choices. These choices may depend on the browser, device, region and whether you are signed in. Read Google’s advertising technology information.

This disclosure does not mean that every page displays ads. Any consent choices presented for advertising apply to the services described in that consent interface.

External content and service providers

Some pages load fonts, scripts or other resources from external services, including Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Cloudflare’s cdnjs. These services receive technical information needed to deliver the resource. Embedded videos or external social links may involve additional data processing by YouTube, Google, Meta or other providers when you use them. Their privacy policies apply to their services.

Storage, choices and privacy enquiries

Local learning data remains in your browser until you clear it or your browser removes it. Other website information is kept according to the applicable WordPress, analytics, hosting and security settings and for the purposes described above; there is no single retention period for all these services.

You can block or clear cookies and site storage through browser settings. Some features, including saved progress and sign-in, may stop working. For questions or requests about information you have submitted to us, contact us privately through the social channels on our Contact page. We may need enough information to locate the submission and verify a request.

We update this page when the website’s services or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest update.
