🔰 Beginner Level

What is Future Tense?
We use future tense to talk about things that haven’t happened yet.


🔹 Two Common Forms:

  1. Will + base verb
    • Example: I will call you later.
  2. Be going to + base verb
    • Example: She is going to travel tomorrow.

🧠 When to Use “Will”:

  • Instant decisions: I’ll help you!
  • Promises: I will return soon.
  • Offers: I’ll carry that for you.
  • Predictions (based on opinion): It will rain later.

🧠 When to Use “Going To”:

  • Future plans: I’m going to visit my grandma.
  • Predictions (based on evidence): Look at those clouds — it’s going to rain.

🔵 Advanced Level

Subtle Differences

  • ⚖️ “Going to” shows planning
  • ⚖️ “Will” is often spontaneous
